Anirban Ch Narayan Chowdury Joins Université de Sherbrooke

CQuIC proudly recognizes Anirban Ch Narayan Chowdhury as he is moving on to the next stage of his career in quantum information science. Anirban defended his Ph. D. dissertation on June 24th, 2019. During his graduate studies, Anirban worked with CQuIC Faculty Associate, Rolando Somma from Los Alamos National Laboratory, studying quantum algorithms for simulating physics. Anirban is moving to Quebec, Canada, to join the Institut Quantique at the Université de Sherbrooke as a postdoctoral researcher. He will be working in the group of David Poulin on quantum and classical algorithms for simulating many-body physics.
Anirban cherishes the time spent in CQuIC, discussing physics and much more with fellow graduate students. He is going to miss New Mexico, and hopes to visit often. We, at CQuIC, wish Anirban the best in his future endeavors.
