CQuIC Graduate Matt Curry Continuing Work at Sandia

Photo of Matt Curry and Advisor DeuschSince graduation in Spring 2019 with a Ph.D. in Physics, Matt Curry started a staff position at Sandia National Laboratories, continuing research similar to his graduate school research at Sandia. Matt looks forward to furthering the development of semiconducting qubits and collaborating with internal and external groups. He also looks forward to staying in town and living in the scenic Sandia foothills right next to many trails!

Matt misses the flexible work hours of graduate student life. He will also miss friends as they graduate UNM and leave to new experiences. “It’s certainly nice that I can still attend CQuIC meetings and seminars, since I’m only 20 minutes away.” Congratulations to Matt Curry!
