Center for Quantum Information and Control Receives Multi-million-dollar Award
October 3, 2016 - Gloria Cordova
The Center for Quantum Information and Control (CQuIC) received a $2.2 million, five-year award from the National Science Foundation to become a Focused Research Hub in Theoretical Physics (FRHTP), one of two in the United States. CQuIC is now searching for up to four postdoctoral fellows, working in theoretical quantum information science, under the auspices of the FRHTP. The FRHTP award attracted the attention of Albuquerque Journal staff writer Kevin Robinson/Avila, who described CQuIC and the FRHTP award in his Tech Bytes column in the Journal.
