Bio
Andrew (Andy) Ferdinand is a research fellow at CQuIC and a Graduate Student at the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of New Mexico. Andy graduated from Cal Poly State University in 2011, where he worked in the area of laser cooling and trapping of neutral atoms, and \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"Saturated Absorption for a Magneto-Optical Atom Trap as a Step toward Atomic Dipole Traps in a Diffraction Pattern from a Circular Aperture\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\".
