Quantum information theory, condensed matter physics, many-body physics
Jacob Miller is a nut about math and physics. Originally hailing from the snowy mountains of Vermont, he has enjoyed the warm climate of New Mexico and the year-long bicycle riding that it permits. Working in the research group of Akimasa Miyake, alongside groupmates Adrian Chapman and Keith Sanders, Jacob works at the interface between quantum information and condensed matter, with an emphasis on measurement-based quantum computation and symmetry-protected topological order. He likes stimulating physics discussions, and is always happy to talk about his research!!
